Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Supervisor to join our client's esteemed manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a BE in Mechanical/Operations or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with 2 to 3 years of valuable experience in the production department. The primary responsibility of this role involves a profound understanding and application of engineering drawing readings.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage day-to-day production operations within the gauges manufacturing unit.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules, optimizing efficiency without compromising on product excellence.
Utilize engineering drawings to guide and supervise production processes, ensuring accuracy and precision in manufacturing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a smooth workflow and address any production challenges promptly.
Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to achieve high performance and maintain a culture of excellence.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate materials for uninterrupted production.
Uphold safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations within the production environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Operations Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2 to 3 years of proven experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role within the production department.
Proficiency in interpreting and utilizing engineering drawings for production purposes.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
