Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our client's esteemed manufacturing team specializing in Brake Components in Waluj MIDC, Ch. Sambhajinagar. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our production processes and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain quality control procedures in adherence to PPAP, ISO, and IATF standards.
Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure product conformity and quality specifications.
Conduct thorough quality inspections throughout the production process, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
Manage customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for resolution.
Collaborate with production teams to address and rectify quality issues, ensuring continuous improvement.
Oversee all activities of the quality department, including documentation, audits, and process improvements.
Implement and monitor quality metrics to ensure compliance with established standards.
Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
0 to 2 years of relevant experience in a quality engineering role.
Knowledge of PPAP, ISO, and IATF standards.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience in quality inspection and root cause analysis.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.
