Position Overview:

The Junior Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of machines, troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, developing testing tools, and ensuring smooth plant operations in compliance with IATF standards.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Engineering in Electronics or Mechanical.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in machine maintenance, preferably in Wiring Harness or related manufacturing industry.

• Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance planning and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machine/equipment issues and determine root causes.

• Perform technical repair and maintenance under limited timeframes.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) programs to reduce downtime and costs.

• Manage and resolve all types of machine breakdowns.

• Verify MSEB meter readings and oversee spare parts/stock management.

• Develop new testing boards and plan PM for testing boards and applicators.

• Arrange machine tools and implement solutions using POKA YOKE.

• Maintain and manage all IATF-related documentation.

• Ensure effective communication and reporting.

Skills

• Preventive maintenance & troubleshooting expertise.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.

• Hands-on experience in machine PM planning and execution.

• Proficiency in documentation and communication.

Special Parameters

• Prior experience in the Wiring Harness manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Knowledge of IATF documentation processes.

• Ability to manage spare parts inventory and preventive maintenance schedules.

• Age below 30 years preferred.
