Position Overview:
The Injection Moulding Machine Maintenance Officer will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection moulding machines to ensure uninterrupted production. The role requires strong technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, along with the ability to independently troubleshoot issues, minimize downtime, and maintain machine reliability in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
ITI / BE Mechanical / B.Tech Mechanical / BE Electrical / BE Electronics / DME / DEE
Strong technical foundation in machine maintenance within injection moulding setups
Experience handling high-tonnage machines and production-floor maintenance activities
Key Responsibilities:
Drive end-to-end maintenance ownership ensuring maximum machine uptime
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection moulding machines
Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical issues efficiently
Collaborate cross-functionally with the production team for maintenance planning
Ensure process adherence, safety standards, and compliance during maintenance activities
Maintain detailed maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and spare parts records
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machine performance and reliability
Skills Required:
Proven expertise in injection moulding machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Strong working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Ability to analyze breakdown causes and recommend long-term technical solutions
Experience planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules
Basic understanding of PLC controls, wiring, and control panels
Effective coordination skills and clarity in maintenance reporting and documentation
Special Requirements:
Prior experience in the Automotive Plastic Industry preferred
Ability to handle shift maintenance independently
Hands-on exposure to high-tonnage injection moulding machines
