Position Overview:

The Design Engineer – R&D will support engineering design and development activities by translating customer requirements into accurate technical drawings and documentation. This role involves working closely with customers, internal R&D, and production teams to support product development, design execution, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position is suitable for fresh graduates as well as early‑career professionals seeking exposure to R&D operations in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• BE in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering

• Fresher or candidate with relevant design or R&D experience

• Basic exposure to engineering drawings and design documentation

• Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative R&D setup

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive end‑to‑end ownership of assigned design and R&D support activities

• Interact with customers to understand technical requirements and design expectations

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings as per project specifications

• Use engineering tools such as AutoCAD and SAP for design and documentation

• Collaborate cross‑functionally with R&D, production, and quality teams

• Support product development activities and continuous improvement initiatives

• Ensure process adherence, documentation accuracy, and design timelines

• Maintain organized design records, drawings, and technical documentation

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting

• Basic to intermediate working knowledge of AutoCAD

• Understanding of engineering drawings, symbols, and technical documentation

• Ability to work with ERP systems such as SAP

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
