Position Overview:
The Production Manager will be responsible for managing end‑to‑end plastic injection moulding operations, ensuring production efficiency, manpower utilization, quality adherence, and equipment performance. The role demands strong leadership, process control, and the ability to consistently meet output, safety, and customer standards while driving improvements across the production line.
Qualifications:
CIPET / DME / BE / BSc in a relevant technical field
Strong understanding of plastic injection moulding machines, processes, and materials
Experience managing production teams and shift operations
Knowledge of automotive standards and quality requirements (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily production activities for plastic injection moulding operations
Lead shift management, manpower allocation, and workflow planning to meet production targets
Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and operational guidelines
Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams for machine uptime, defect reduction, and process stability
Identify process bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Optimize cycle times, reduce rejections, and control production costs
Monitor production KPIs, prepare reports, and ensure timely communication with management
Maintain shop‑floor discipline, 5S compliance, and structured operational practices
Skills Required:
Hands-on expertise in Plastic Injection Moulding operations and machine handling
Strong capability in production planning, shift scheduling, and output monitoring
Experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and cycle time improvement
Proven ability to manage teams, manpower, and shift coordination
Working knowledge of quality control, defect analysis, and automotive standards
Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies
Strong communication, decision-making, and documentation skills
Special Requirements:
Mandatory Injection Moulding production background
Immediate joiner preferred
Must be available for full-time onsite role at Waluj MIDC
