Position Overview:

The QA Sr. Officer / Executive will support day-to-day quality assurance operations for plastic injection moulding. The role ensures adherence to quality standards, manages inspection activities, supports customer quality requirements, and contributes to rejection reduction and process improvement. This position plays a key role in maintaining compliance, reliability, and documentation accuracy within the QA function.

Qualifications:

  • BE / B.Tech (Mechanical / Polymer / Production) OR

  • Diploma in Engineering with relevant QA experience

  • Strong understanding of automotive plastic moulding inspection and quality systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end execution of daily QA activities across moulding production lines

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection ensuring compliance to quality plans

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production and maintenance teams to improve quality KPIs

  • Ensure process adherence, control plan compliance, and documentation accuracy

  • Handle customer complaints and support corrective & preventive action (CAPA) activities

  • Assist in APQP, PPAP, SPC, and MSA documentation and quality system requirements

  • Monitor rejection trends, perform basic root cause analysis, and support improvement actions

  • Maintain QA records, inspection reports, and structured quality documentation

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of plastic injection moulding quality processes and component inspection

  • Understanding of IATF 16949 / ISO quality system requirements

  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools, gauges, and measurement techniques

  • Working knowledge of 7 QC tools, RCA, and basic 8D methodology

  • Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills

Special Requirements:

  • Preference for candidates with Automotive Plastic Industry experience

  • Ability to independently manage QA responsibilities during shifts

  • Exposure to customer interaction and audit support
