Position Overview:

The Sales & Marketing Manager will play a key role in driving business growth by developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies. The position involves expanding market presence, managing key customer relationships, achieving revenue targets, and coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure successful order execution. This role requires a strong commercial mindset, industry understanding, and leadership capability.

Qualifications:

  • BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant engineering discipline

  • MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred

  • Formal education aligned with technical sales and business development roles

  • Relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing sales environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve assigned business and revenue targets

  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential customers to drive growth

  • Manage key accounts and build long-term, trust-based customer relationships

  • Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and lead price negotiations with customers

  • Coordinate with design, production, quality, and project teams to ensure smooth order execution

  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives including digital marketing activities, exhibitions, and client visits

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer requirements

  • Lead, guide, and monitor sales team performance against defined KPIs and targets

  • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and monthly performance reviews for management

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, timely payment collection, and resolution of customer issues

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing within manufacturing or electrical industry environments

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for client engagement

  • Proven ability to build, manage, and retain long-term customer relationships

  • Strategic, target-oriented mindset with strong focus on revenue growth

  • Effective coordination skills to work with cross-functional internal teams

  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience working with CRM tools

Special Requirements:

  • Prior experience in electrical, automation, or industrial sales is strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

  • Ability to handle key accounts and manage large or strategic customers

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, business development, and exhibitions

  • Strong ownership mindset toward revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes
