Job Description:

Our HR recruiting agency is currently partnering with a renowned small-scale industry engaged in sheet metal manufacturing to identify a qualified and motivated individual for the position of NPD Engineer. This opportunity is located in Waluj and offers an exciting chance to contribute to the organization's success.

Responsibilities:

1. Systematic Problem Solving:
   Identify and resolve issues related to new product development processes.

2. Effective Communication:
   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication throughout the product development lifecycle.

3. Five 'S':
   Implement and maintain a workplace organization method to enhance efficiency (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).

4. Man & Management Skills:
   Demonstrate effective leadership and management skills to guide and coordinate the NPD team.

5. Measurement Instrument Handling:
   Proficient in handling various measurement instruments for accurate product measurements.

6. Reading of Engineering Drawings:
   Interpret and analyze engineering drawings to guide the product development process.

7. Press Operation:
   Knowledge and experience in press operations related to sheet metal manufacturing.

8. APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning):
   Implement and manage APQP processes to ensure the quality of new products.

9. PPAP (Production Part Approval Process):
   Oversee the PPAP process to ensure the approval of new parts for production.

10. Feasibility Study:
    Conduct feasibility studies for new product concepts to assess viability.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in new product development.

• Strong systematic problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Knowledge of Five 'S' principles.

• Demonstrated man and management skills.

• Proficient in measurement instrument handling.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Experience in press operations and sheet metal manufacturing.

• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and feasibility study processes.
