Position Overview:

The Quality Head will lead and oversee the complete Quality function across manufacturing operations. This role is critical in ensuring product reliability, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and customer satisfaction. The position requires strong leadership, deep electrical industry expertise, and hands-on involvement in driving quality systems, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

• Formal exposure to quality management systems and audit frameworks

• Proven experience in electrical or transformer manufacturing environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire Quality Department and end-to-end quality operations

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality control systems and procedures

• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), VIVA Analysis, and structured problem-solving

• Ensure effective implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

• Handle customer complaints, quality concerns, and ensure timely resolution

• Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase, and Service teams for quality alignment

• Lead internal audits, ISO audits, customer audits, and process audits

• Ensure timely closure of audit non-conformities with effective action plans

• Monitor incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean, and Poka‑Yoke

Skills Required:

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical products and transformer manufacturing

• Expertise in RCA, CAPA, VIVA Analysis, and core QC tools

• Hands-on experience handling ISO, customer, and vendor audits

• Sound understanding of electrical testing procedures and quality parameters

• Proven leadership, team management, and decision-making skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities

• Clear communication and cross-functional coordination skills

Special Requirements:

• Extensive experience in quality leadership roles within electrical manufacturing

• Prior experience as Quality Head / Quality Manager is highly preferred

• Strong capability in audit handling and customer complaint management

• Ability to drive measurable quality improvements and reduce rejection/rework

• Hands-on, execution-focused approach with strong ownership mindset
