Position Overview

The Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing and finalising the company’s accounts. The position involves transitioning traditional accounting practices to Tally, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and structuring the company’s accounting processes to meet industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com), or MBA in Finance.

• 4 to 8 years of experience in accounting roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Finalise accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Transition the company’s accounting practices from traditional methods to Tally software.

• Develop a structured and efficient accounting process.

• Manage bookkeeping and oversee all financial transactions.

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other taxation requirements.

• Generate and manage essential accounting documents such as delivery challans, invoices, receipts, debit/credit notes, and other financial records in Tally.

• Provide accurate data to the Chartered Accountant for tax filing purposes.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in bookkeeping and overall accounting.

• Mastery of Tally and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Expertise in account finalisation processes.

• In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, and taxation regulations.

• Ability to manage financial transactions effectively and efficiently.

Special Requirements

• Proven ability to generate and manage accounting documents in Tally.

• Detail-oriented approach to preparing tax-related data for submission to CA.

• Exceptional organisational skills to maintain a well-structured accounting system.
