Position Overview:

We are looking for Junior NPD Engineers who can contribute to new product design, development, and optimization in the wiring harness industry. The role requires proficiency in CAD-CAM, Catia, and engineering documentation, along with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

Qualifications:

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

• Proficiency in CAD-CAM, Catia (mandatory).

Experience:

• 2–3 years in New Product Development (NPD) within the wiring harness industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new technologies or optimize existing solutions in wiring harness products.

• Conceptualize, design, and test new products in line with company goals.

• Define problems, conduct research, analyze data, and evaluate solutions.

• Work on CAD-CAM, Catia for design and development.

• Reduce cycle time and contribute to CFT projects.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development.

• Work with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.

Skills

• Knowledge of BOP (Bill of Process).

• Knowledge of component identification & sourcing.

• Basic knowledge of raw materials.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in CAD-CAM, Catia, and MS Office tools.

• Excellent communication, time management, teamwork, and adaptability skills.

Special Parameters

• Must have 2–3 years of experience in the wiring harness industry.

• Hands-on knowledge of component identification, BOP, and raw materials.

• Strong coordination and adaptability to changing project requirements.
