Our client, a renowned plastic manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Manager to join their team in Waluj, Chh. Sambhajinagar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of raw materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring optimal inventory control.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure a steady supply of raw materials (engineering materials) for the manufacturing process
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and finance, to align procurement activities with company goals
- Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics to make informed purchasing decisions
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing holding costs and avoiding stockouts
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations in all procurement activities

Requirements:
- Master of Commerce (M.Com), MBA in Production Planning, or BE in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in purchasing roles, preferably within manufacturing industries
- Strong knowledge of raw material procurement for manufacturing industries, particularly engineering materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
- Proficient in inventory control techniques and practices
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Negotiation skills and the ability to secure favorable terms with suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

The company offers a competitive salary range of 25,000 to 30,000 per month, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
